UNIVERSITY OF UTAH--THOSE LIBERALS!!!

The University of Utah has been and probably is the Red Hot core of enlightenment in Utah. Over many decades I have attended an array of events, presentations, and lectures.

Presentations in the evening, often attended by many persons not associated with the U, are--or were--customarily followed by light refreshments, usually excellent cookies and Mormon punch or fruit juice.

There was a wildly exciting event in the Sixties--the most heavily attended I ever witnessed, except for the appearance of Madalyn Murray O’Hair, the renowned atheist. This was a capital-C Communist and, probably, a real one.

As usual after a lecture, refreshments were served. This time, open-faced sandwiches and--COFFEE. COFFEE!!
